A. DKP originated in EverQuest to enable the fair distribution of virtual items in the game. This point system was put into place to help provide a way to distribute items to the players that had put in the most effort into the guild’s raids. Essentially, the more you play the more items you will receive instead of leaving the items to the chance of a roll in the game. The Guild Launch Rapid Raid DKP system allows many types of DKP systems like zero- sum, bid all, and bid minimum to be tracked.

Q. What is Guild Logic?
A. Guild Logic is a Guild Launch core technology that helps speed up the guild application process and helps to pre-populate Guild Launch's custom Rapid Raid raid-management tool. The idea is that you shouldn't have to retype member, raid, or item information once it has been entered the first time.

Q. What is Rapid Raid DKP?
A. Rapid Raid is Guild Launch's custom raid management tool. Rapid Raid uses Guild and Event Logic to create a rapid system of tracking raid points (DKP) through an event driven raid model that speeds up the collection of raid data and frees up raid managers so that they can play the game more instead handling tedious data entry of 1st generation raid tracking systems.

Q. What is Event Logic?
A. Event Logic is a part of Guild Launch's Rapid Raid technology model. Event Logic helps to pre-fill participants from event to event, handles raid substitutions, and keeps a running total of user raid points (DKP) based on the time of entry into the raid. Event Logic also helps collect item data at the time of a specific event such as a boss kill.

Q. What is a Launch Code?
A. A launch code is a secret number that the user uses to bypass the guild application process. It allows a person who is already in the guild or who is not required to apply to have their character added to the guild quickly. Your launch code can be enabled at any time and can be updated as often as you like. A launch code is very useful when a guild with existing members is setting up a Guild Launch site because it allows the launch code to be given to existing members so they can add the characters quickly. It is also useful for registering alternate characters and friends without having to go through the application process.

Q. Can I add a domain name to my guild website?
A. Yes you can add any domain name you have registered through a domain name registry such as Network Solutions. Please refer to your guild account settings for more information on how to modify your account to use a domain name.
