For the love of all that is Holy knock off this apparent flaming of Sapience in this forum.  This is SUPPOSED to be a CELEBRATION page for the MOST PASSIONATE FAN BASE.  There  must be a reason that he didn't win Community Manager of the Year.  Quit beating a dead horse over it.  This event happened MONTHS go.  Let it go.  Grow up.  If you find it such an injustice that Sapience was nominated for this award (that he didn't win) Start a QQ thread about it on lotro forums.  This is neither the time nor the place for a QQ thread when Sapience didn't even WIN the Community Manager of the Year award. Grow up and buck up and start QQing about the stuff that REALLY matters.

Thank you and have a Happy Thanksgiving

Kick Sapience out and the community will be amazing. Despite him this is the best community (Lotro).

I am stating my own opinion and the nearly unanimous opinion of a rather large non-official Lotro forum. He might be doing a lot good that doesn't actually show to us, players. I really have no idea what good he has done for the Lotro community.

But his behaviour on the official forums is despicable. No person dealing with customers and/or community should act the way he has, let alone keep his job.

Again, this is just MY opinion (even if its backed by opinions of a whole lot of people it's still my own, too). I am not calling you Sapience fans, blind people who throw their money at a company who lies to them and gives freebies to people sucking up to them and their community managers. You have your opinion of Sapience, I have mine.

Sapience, if you are reading this: You are apparently still important to some people. Please, for the love of the community, don't throw crap at your paying customers. We need you 100% behind this game, it can last a long long time still despite being so old with a community this good.

@mvastis I agree completely, the guy knows nothing about customer service, want to see real customer service check out Patiences old posts or the old Codemasters forums. Sapience has alienated so many players and his unprofessional comments about the community on his twitter account, its a wonder he even has a job let a lone being even recommended for an award
