It can be lonely at the top. Downing bosses is hard work, after all, and it’s not always easy to find other players who might be considered your equal. That’s why you’re so lucky to have your guild mates.
You see, they understand you. Side by side, you crush the toughest of bosses beneath your epic, Tier 73 boots and hang their virtual heads on your site. You are heroes. Giants. Perhaps even…
But then the real world steps in. You can’t always be logged into the game (well, okay, theoretically you can, but you can’t always be physically at the computer playing). You have to go to work, or to school, or to the grocery store. And during these times, it can definitely be lonely.
That’s where Guild Launch steps in. Some of the most-used functionality in the system is on the forums, where you can communicate with your friends without having to be logged into the game.
And you, as the admin… you want to make it just right.
Fortunately, the noble GL_Slater has come out with a line of video tutorials for just how to get things done. There’s the full admin tutorial of the forums tab:
Or, if you so prefer, it’s also been broken down into smaller, more easily-watchable chunks in case you’re looking for a specific piece of the forum functionality… like, say…
Forum Permissions!
Or… Forum Ranks!
Or even Adding New Forums!
This particular Feature Friday is a test run for potential video blogs/tutorials in the future, so let me know what you think!
Much like our Ask Slater Tuesday posts, if you have something you’d like to see, let me know! Send me an email at support@guildlaunch.com or send me a tweet – I’m @GL_Slater on the Twitter.
