WOOOHOOOOOO!!!! Hey peeps! Sorry I didn't get to post, it's been HELLA chaotic for my family since the holidays. We've moved from NC back to Louisiana (where I'm from) my hub got a position at Fort Polk. We're currently homeless... but in the process of buying a new home. But for now we're in a Holiday Inn Express on post. I have lost my religion a few times as well as being severely sleep deprived and VERY caffeine deprived. We're hoping (please DEAR GOD) to close on the house this week. And the internet here is VERY spotty, at night, I'm ready to tear my hair out in clumps because it'll just drop us.

So, fill me in on what's been happening. I get texts from some friends and sorry if I haven't replied back, again it's been very crazy with buying the house, living in a hotel room and enrolling my son in school here. And having my family wanting us to go here and there to visit. And my alcohol intake has helped me from losing my religion many a days. Anyway, miss you guys! I'll drink a Hurricane or frozen drink for ya~ ;) Hopefully will be back soonish.....!

Guild meeting last night

Changing our name is OK with me, but people will figure out that we were SC before the change.
The real determining factor is what we want to do as a guild. Are we OK raiding with TSC? Can we get TSC to upgrade their requirements for the raiders? I mean, they have people that can't even remember to invisible, after being told to 5 or 6 times, as an example. Do we want to continue this easy alliance and progress as far as we can with them and then consider what to do then?
If we, say, merged with Dragonfyre aren't we still going to be short a group or two? Will we be able to do our current raiding targets or have to step back for a while to gear up the news?
I think we need to discuss and determine what are the likely outcomes of the possible choices.

went to cardiologist today and they feel that all the symptoms are more related to anemia rather than The hypertension. They want to get the anemia under control and then revisit the heart issue if there still is one.

Raid Goals/Concerns

I was hoping to ease back into raiding, and it appears its very necessary after even the short layoff. People seem to be completely unfocused to a greater degree than I am used to and its getting very frustrating. For instance, our attempt at library was disgusting...a full raid and we didn't have dps to keep up with books? Seriously? Our DPS was supposed to go *up* with new levels/gear, not down, let alone down significantly.

Also, there was a huge rift inside one of the alliance guilds (CI) which cost us some stability in terms of some of their best raiders, along with numbers.

1) Ease back into raiding, then focus on t3 progression and t1 VoA. Once we have t1 VoA on farm reconsider which way we want to go with it. I was going to start looking into VoA raids after the Christmas holidays (January), but that may get pushed up to at least see how it works beforehand.

2) I agree completely its taking too long from start to finish. I'm back at the point where I don't know what exactly I'm going to get in terms of numbers on any given raid. The only targets I can call regardless of numbers are Grounds and Upper Floors. Beyond that I have to wait and see who feels like showing up on any given night. Please feel free to spam me with tells 10 minutes into the raid to announce a target, because no matter what 30 minutes is an unacceptable amount of time to wait for a target...sometimes I just lose track of time trying to figure out groups. Loot distribution is just lethargic...I think its worse now than usual because of people not being sure if they should go in on items here or wait till we do VoA, but its frustrating to spend 25 minutes doing a corpse. Doing things 1 at a time is just terrible...even if we managed to get it to ~2 minutes per item, including spells we're looking at 9-11 items or 20 minutes wasted.

3) I kind of enjoyed doing upper floors the "hard" way, and I think we will be killing the golums that spawn after Lilth on the first part from here on out (we usually lose 14-15 people who "miss" the evac). That said, we will not be doing it the long way again and yes, strategy questioning isn't really favorable for me to have to demonstrate.

4) This is similar to point 2. We need to do 2 things here. 1) Organize how we deal with banners (need to have it so late people can banner in, get guild access sharing set up etc). This means I don't have to stop in the middle of raids repeatedly to move people for coh who apparently can't invis and run 5 feet without someone holding their hand. 2) I'll try to separate upper floors and roots of evil so we at least have 2 targets we can do with low numbers to open raids with. Not sure what a third would be for our third raid day but will work on it.

5) I need to talk to Bongg about this, but this needs to be based on 90 day attendance and will likely be handled similarly to t2 keys (posting if you need it on a thread along with your 90 day attendance).

As for last nights raid...I *think* we have a working strat for zephyr now...as long as healers fucking heal the people they are told to heal. Bongg and Pandia got *zero* heals from the *two* clerics in their group, leaving only Teedraa to keep them up...which is not fair to the tanks or Teedraa, and ultimately lead to a disappointing failure of a night.

The idea behind raiding 3 days a week is that you have 3 days to spend all your attention and to focus...and its just not happening lately. At first I chalked it up to rust but this is getting ridiculous.
