"This is ALWAYS interesting to see. EVERYONE loves the farm stage. They apply to a guild. That guild's in the farm stages of an event or an entire expansion, and they think raiding is easy! The guild is tromping through event after event. Lag time or nonproductive time is at a minimum. Wipes are rare and only when someone really screws up. It's all easy easy easy and loot flows like candy. The newbies think raiding is a piece of cake! However... Then comes the new expansion and the new fights and the nonproductive time and the wipes and the frustration and the anger and the nerves that are all on edge. The guild wipes over and over again with XP flying out the window. Maybe it's been days or weeks or longer since any real loot flowed into the guild. Night after night the guild throws itself against an unmoving brick wall and it's not very much fun. THAT's when you learn who the REAL raiders are and who was just along for the ride sucking up all the freeby loots."
