Guild Launch News
Follow Guild Launch on Twitter
Greetings,
As part of our strategy for communicating with Guild Launch members we have begun using Twitter to disperse information. Part of the goal is to transition from using the System Announcement spot at the top of the page as a way to broadcast non-critical info to our users and to instead use Twitter. You can follow us here:
http://twitter.com/guildlaunch
So, if you have a Twitter account we highly suggest you follow us. If you don't have one, they are easy to create. Then you can check in periodically for information you will find useful about Guild Launch and the gaming industry as a whole.
We will be using our Twitter stream to post MMOG and game news that we find interesting as well as to publish links to feature sneak peaks, requests for feedback, release announcements and other Guild Launch news. If you want to provide feature feedback checking our Twitter stream and the support site will be an excellent way to take advantage of opportunities where we request feedback on specific topics from our awesome members.
We will not be using Twitter to provide support except in cases where information cannot be conveyed via our main site which is exceedingly rare. Support will be supplied on this site and via email as it is now. We don't want to split our focus on providing support especially since Twitter comments aren't searchable, visible by other users, etc. We absolutely welcome any comments and feedback via Twitter though.
We will still be posting critical info such as a release being scheduled or compeleted in the System Announcements, but we hope that Twitter will allow us to communicate with you all more regularly about Guild Launch without cluttering up the top of your site.

We're not abandoing normal announcements. We'll still be making normal announcements for critical news which are more or less what we make announcemens for now. Adding Twitter lets us add more communication and request for input without having the top of your site plastered with a news announcement 5 out 7 days a week.

Please dont abandon normal announcements . I refuse to twitter as I find it pretty pointless rather like facebook . There is such a thing as too much contact
