Guild Launch News
Version 1.9 Sneak Peak
We are planning some very cool features for the next release. The following is a sneak peak of our recruitment enhancements.
Application Process
You will be able to select any of your forums to post a copy of the user's application into. The post will be posted as an announcement (so that it stays at the top of the forum) and will be titled:
App from: <UserName>
When the application is accepted, declined, or withdrawn the post will be changed to a regular post (so it drops off with new posts unlike an announcement) and the title will be appended with:
Accepted|Declined|Withdrawn by <UserWhoAcceptedOrDeclinedTheApp)
Auto Response
In addition, there will be two text boxes on the recruiting status page that will allow admins to create a standard reply for acceptances and declines. These replies will be added to the standard "You have been accepted into X guild" and "Your application to X guild has been declined" messages that a user is PMd right now. Guild admins will be able to use these automatic responses to give guild rules, or tell a prospective member who to talk to for the in-game invite and things of that nature.
