Guild Launch News
Version 1.9 Sneak Peak
The following additions are planned for our 1.9 release which will be released early next week, the first week of June 2007.
Major Features
Guild Application Tracking and Display
We have added options to your Guild Recruiting Status page which will allow you to choose to post a copy of all guild applications into a forum of your choosing. The message will be posted as an announcement with the title "App: User Name" and will contain the contents of their application. If the user is then accepted, denied, or withdraws the post is changed to a regular post and the title is changed to indicate the application status and who approved, denied, or withdrew application.
We believe this functionality will be very useful for our users who would like to see old applications or
have their users comment on applications using the forum.
Private Messaging Revamp
We have completely overhauled private messaging.
The new area has paging of messages, a better placed preview window and a sentbox allowing you to see messages that you have sent.
Guild Progression Widget
We have created a very open ended guild progression widget system. If you add the widget you will receive a link in the widget to the page used to enter information.
On the guild progression page you can add a "Group" or "Instance" with a series of "Items" or "Bosses" with dates. This system is adaptable enough to be used for anything, not just instances. You can put things like Molten Core -> Lucifron 3/2/2006 as easily as you could put Raid Keys -> Kharazan 5/3/2007 or Spaceships Built -> 2000 5/2/2007
Enhancements
1. Adding caching of certain user info to improve site performance.
We have improved the user process of activating domain names. Your guild will now receive two entries in our domain list one
for your subdomain and one for your domain. What this means is that your guild will never leave the original location if you
upgrade to a full domain name.
2. We have added a comma seperated list of the characters for a guild member to the member roster in your guild's roster area.
3. Links in the section links can now be edited.
We are again allowing certain HTML to be entered along with links in the section links. The allowed tags are <span> and <font>.
This will allow you to color your links and style them while limiting the unwated HTML that can be put there.
4. The character profile upload form is now available both on the character list and the character detail page. Be aware though that
the form will still upload data for any character in both locations.
5. The claim column on the character roster is now sortable.
6. The tab panels now have a slightly different look and feel to make them more seamless.
7. The number of days since a users last login has been added to the members list in the guild roster area.
Bug Fixes
1. Fixed a bug which was causing the number of raid signups to show as 0 instead of the correct number.
2. Fixed a bug which was causing character imports to send the user to a non existent page.

It will be out first thing Thursday. We have one last thing to check and make sure it's right before we put it out.
