RELEASE 1.9.1 - LOTRO Templates, Delete Shouts & More
We are releasing version 1.9.1 today. This release is primarily a bug fix release with a few new features.
This release includes the following:
Major Features
On Demand Item Stats Updates
Item links (not icons) will now have a "recycle" icon next to them. Clicking that icon will refresh our item information in the database and pull in the most recent stats.
More Detail About Roster Imports
The roster import for WoW will now show the number and names of the characters added, deleted, and updated.
Deletable Shouts
Shouts are now deletable. You must be the site creator or a site admin to delete them.
Import Raid Data Into An Existing Raid
You will now have the ability to import raid data into any given raid. This will allow users to run an import per event if they wish or to import the actual raid into the same raid that was used for the signups.
New Templates
1. We have added a Lord of the Rings Online template. It is a woodsy, brown, moody theme that I think many of you will like.
Improvements
1. The browse guild functionality will now load faster.
2. We will receive more information about "invalid sessions" in the forums that will help us track down an issue some of our users are having.
3. Our advertising is now invoked differently resulting in decreased load times for those page for many people.
Bug Fixes
1. The communication (PM) link on the approve apps page now works properly again.
2. Guild ranks can now be edited properly
3. Zero Sum values will now be correctly calculated when you add and remove attendees from an existing rapid raid event.
4. Issues with apostrophes showing with slashes in a few rapid raid pages have been fixed.
5. The WYSIWYG editor for the Wiki was causing some issues with certain formats. We have disabled it while we evaluate another WYSIWYG editor.
6. We've resolved a bug that led to improper memory usage on image uploads. Uploads should be a touch more performant now.
7. All PMs now have the correct date and time on them and will sort properly.
8. Rapid raid imports will no longer pay attention to the case of the character name so "Bob" is equivalent to "bob" is equivalent to "BOB"
In addition, in the last few weeks we have done alot of "unseen" work to improve the performance and stability of the site. The changes we have made don't really make it onto a release sheet like this one since 99% of the time was spent load testing on internal servers and then making minor tweaks, but we think you all will appreciate and are already enjoying the benefits of the increased platform performance.

Thanks Stephen and crew for the upgrades. I'm particularly fond of the upgrade to Shoutbox. I don't know much about programming as far as how difficult that was to do, but it certainly makes things a lot better cosmetically on our end. Thanks so much!
Oh, and faster load times is always nice :-D
