Guild Launch News
RELEASE: Version 3.6 Released - Something for Everyone
UPDATE: Doesn't look like a bug at all. Double check the Waitlist Boss Kill and the Waitlist Hourly from the 03/03/2008 SSC raid. Those count towards attendance, but he isn't on there.
I think the error here is that the UI that appears to show a specific events attendance acutally shows the raid's cummuative attendance. Which is goofy.

im looking at the raid you are referencing and thats correct, hes not listed. thats because he was in the actual raid and not sitting out on our waitlist :D
If you sort our guild by attendance, there are 3 people at 62/64 97% and all 3 are missing listed on the 1/29 ssc raid but are not check on the audit for that raid. That event is non attendance, but it should still shot 5/5 correct? i think thats what you mean by your update above.
another thing, if those 3 have never missed a raid and all events are still tracked, they should be 64/64. even if that 1 event is fixed it would leave them at 63/64. I dont see another missing raid from any of their attendances.
Is there a way to track more raid history? i can only see back as far as early january, and would like to count the events and help track down where the count is off in our case.
thx again for looking into this. Attendance tracking is a big deal for us as its how we help determine invites.

Lets take Ivoc as a specific example:
http://tds.guildlaunch.com/users/characters/character_dkp.php?char=900502&gid=22671&raid_pool=20282
He's attended:
First Boss Kill 11
Gruul the Dragonkiller 5
High King Maulgar 5
Hourly DKP 40
On Time Bonus 14
The Lurker 1
Trash mob 8
Trash Mob Drops 4
These events count towars attendance:
http://tds.guildlaunch.com/rapid_raid/event_types.php?raid_pool=20282&gid=22671&char=900502
First Boss Kill 11
Gruul the Dragonkiller 5
High King Maulgar 5
Hourly DKP 40
On Time Bonus 14
The Lurker 1
But that is lifetime. In the last 30 days 2 events have happened, which counts towards attendance that he didn't attend:
http://tds.guildlaunch.com/rapid_raid/raid_details.php?raid_pool=20282&raidId=86163&gid=22671&char=900502
The "Waitlist Hourly" and the "Waitlist Boss Kill".
Because of that, he has 2 less than 100%.
In other words the calculation is correct. That is his attendance percentage as you have it setup.
If you wanted to do true raid attendance, then you'd need to create cummulative attendance events in each raid and then only count those towards attendance. Personally I think that is too much trouble, but if attendance is a key factor for you and you want "RAID Attendance" then the Cummulative Attendance event is the way to go and though it might be a bit of a pain to setup going back through existing raids it's only two extra clicks going forward.

damn your fast. you must have 3 people signed on as you to post so much :P
i think i gotcha. ill go change that event to track and see what happens.
oh snap...think my "light bulb" just went on finally.
So would it be easier for me to keep tracking waitlist via the adjustments for those individuals?
im trying to use the cumaltive attendance for 30/60 as my true barometer. so in this case ivoc has been at 100%, but since i stopped using adjustments to track waitlist, everyone for that raid is losing 2 events (3%).
ill nuke those 3 and adjust time and bonus via adjustments again. see if that helps me.
edit -- when i nuked those 2 events, the 3 raiders went back to 100%, so i went ad added an adjustment for the waitlist person who was online and available for the boss kill and set it as an Attendance. Although it doesnt change his actual attendance.
so i guess im kinda stuck here and how i want to actually track and how accurate it will be. i will work with my officers and make changes on my end. again thx for the insight and help.

I think you're on the right track now. Any event counting towards attendance will count towards the guild total raids. The guild total is the 64 in the 62/64.
So, you could just set those Waitlist events to not count towards attendance and you could still track them in the raid to show that the people were there, but they wouldn't throw off the attendance percentage calculations.

but if we do that, then their attendance is not accurate.
heres what i do...maybe i should rethink my waitlist.
Anyone who gets ask to sit out or sits at the entrance while the 25 are raiding still earns 50% of total dkp for that night. This is why im tracking their attendance too, as they are earning credit just for being team players and sticking close and available.
so im at a crossroads, keep accurate attendance for members in the raid or change my credit system and track all capable members online wanting to raid. hmmmm
