RELEASE: Version 3.6.1 - Raid Icons & Small Fixes
I've just released Version 3.6.1. This version contains WoW Raid Icons like the image below. If your game has an accepted set of raid icons and abbreviations/names send us a link to them and the info and we'll set up the raid icons for your game too.
In addition this release contains some small fixes to the templates to allow regular members to view the Attendees by Event page on the raid details page.
In addition this release contains a change to the forums session management that should allow users with broken cookies and cookie handling issues on their computers to use the forums with less issues.

Although I like the new raiding icons, when they appear in the Raiding History widget (Rapid Raid Widget) they screw a lot of the formatting up.
For example, when you look at ours particularly with long names like Serpentshrine Cavern it used to look like:
Upcoming Raids:
Serpentshrine Cavern
mm/dd/yy time
Signup
but now looks like:
ICON Serpentshrine
Cavern
mm/dd/yy timea
timeb
Signup
It just looks "off".
Can we get the ability to turn off icons for particular widgets but keep them in the calendar?
I love graphics, but for the side widgets they just are too big and push the formatting off too much...

Making everything an option really isn't an option. I can play with the formatting some to see if I can improve the flow. Probably tweak the left padding a bit. You could also change your date format to a 2 digit year and the lines would flow a bit better.
Unfortunately, since we don't have a known number of characters, and sort of have to plan for the average. This is web development after all. The longest date format, with the longest instance name, like you have right now might look a bit funny. On average though, the shorter instance names, with a shorter date format will look pretty much like it did before with an icon next to it.

Hehehe, that's the Catch-22 with web development...having an option to add/remove it makes it more flexible.

Hehe, it's not feasible to develop an application where everything has a "yes/no" button attached to it. It just isn't. I'll look into the formatting, but it's highly unlikely that we will attach a configuration option to whether to show icons in the widget.

I wondering if instead of locking this down for just raids, if it can be used for any "event" in the calendar. Our guild doesn't use the formalized Raid setup for Karazhan or Zul'Aman, instead we just put them up as "events" and people sign up for them.
Does it have to be used in just the "Raid" setup?
