Guild Launch News
ANNOUNCEMENT: Calling for Translators
We will be rolling out a multi language addition for Guild Launch sometime in the next few months. The primary subsystem for it is already in place, it just needs to be connected, tested, and most importantly: Translated
We don't have anyone on staff who speaks a foreign language except for some curse words in a spattering of languages and a class or two in Warcraft that we have picked up. So... if anyone is interested in translating for us we're looking for some people for the following languages:
French
German
We will be translating the text in passes, so we will translate the primary nav items and admin tabs for instance then move to another area. So the first pass will probably be about 50 items. If you are interested, please IM me.

Unfortunately I don't speak French and my 2 years of High School German won't help, but if you ever need translation into the obscure language of the Philippines (Tagalog) you just let me know.
If You would be interested in translating Your portal to polish, then I can do it (it's my native language).
I can translate to German, it is my first language as I am a native speaker.
I won't have much time this month, though, so depending on how much there is that's going to get translated, I will have to wait with this until the beginning of October. The 50 items from the first batch should be fine, though, I guess I am able to do that for you.

While Google Translate can be helpful, it's not the best tool for professional-looking translations. I can run German translations through it that I know are correct, only to have the English come out botched... and vice versa. I have been known to use it when dealing with tickets, though (sometimes we receive emails in languages I don't speak, and good ole Google is there to help at that point).
