New Admin Sneak Peek
So, if you read our blog (Blog Link Here!), you are probably aware of this whole "Admin Redesign" thing we've been working on.
We're currently in the testing stage to get the last couple bugs discovered and summarily squashed, but here is a quick sample video to show you what it's going to look like:

Really looking forward to having a play with this. One of the problems with having so many great options on your sites is that often I just know something is in there somewhere - its just a matter of finding it!
Just a quick remark regarding your blog message about this .. the link given is broken (http://support.guildlaunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=8334734 is the link given in the blog, but it doesn't go anywhere).
Also a quick question - you mentioned that permissions are getting a revamp, with a lot more permissions being available. Will our current permissions still be in place following the change-over or will we have to go through and re-do them?
Edit .. also, a slight typo in your blog: "The end result is different form the old admin in critical ways" - I don't know if you're bothered about changing it, but I have a bad habit of noticing these things

Thanks for the heads up! I have corrected the typo and updated the link to properly point here.
As far as permissions go, they will transfer over into New Admin as well. There might be a few pocket cases with some of the new settings where permissions have been expanded, but they won't be able to do anything they couldn't before.

Ah cool, thank you :-)
A previous, unmentionable guild host I used to use once changed their permissions very slightly, and somehow managed to enable everyone to see every forum (including completely different guilds) - all sorts of fun ensued! Fingers crossed you do your usual spiffing work

Fantastic job guys, really.
I've been hoping you were going to update the back end for a while.
Everything looks so much more intuitive and a lot cleaner.
I'm looking forward to having a play ^.^
regards
Leeloo.

I have to agree with the other posters thus far - this looks great, much less chaotic. Admin navigation was really my only gripe with the service, so it looks like I officially have nothing to complain about!
Seriously guys, fantastic work. I can't wait to take it for a spin.

I always liked going with 'tomorrow'. That way I can have conversations like this:
Day 1.
"When will this be done?"
"Tomorrow."
"Sweet!"
Day 2.
"Hey, you said this would be done today."
"No, I said it would be done tomorrow."
"But you said that yesterday."
"But it's today, not tomorrow. It'll be done tomorrow."

haha, fair enough. Thanks for the quick reply.
Better to have it late and working than on time and full of bugs

Hey Everyone,
We've moved the release to Tuesday so that I could button a few things up over the weekend and we could get them tested on Monday. Thanks for your patience!
