Rapid Raid
FAQ: Raid Roster Functionality
Q. What does the raid roster do?
A. It provide three primary functions:
Role Based Signups
You can add players to Groups and Roles on this page, then you can use those groups as the Auto-Fill setting on signup groups for the raid.
Determines Who is Raid Active
If you have set this pool to only consider characters on the Raid Roster as 'Active' then players in at least one Role in the area above are considered 'Raid Active'. Raid Active players show on the Members list by default. You can create a Raid Roster with as simple as a single group called 'Raiders' with a single role of 'Active' or make much more complex groupings.
Organizes Your Raiders
Some guilds just want to communicate what roles people fill in raids. The raid roster is perfect for this.
Q. What are Groups?
A. Groups can be designations within a pool such as '10-Man A' or '10-Man B' or they can be a quick way to subdivide raiders within a pool such as '10 Man' or '25 Man'.
Q. What is a Role?
A. A role can be as simple as 'Active' with all raiders in it, or they can be group by Raid Role such as 'Tank','DPS','Off-Tank','Melee DPS' or by class such as 'Warrior','Priest', etc. The choice is yours.
Q. What is the importance of sorting the Roles? What's it good for?
A. If you use Role Based signups the Roles sorted to the top of a group on this page will be filled first in the signups.
Q. Got any videos showing how this works?
A. Sure Do!
Enjoy!

I am still kind of confused about the roles. Here is what I did. I created a group called '25 man' then created 'Tanks', 'Healers', 'Melee DPS' and 'Ranged DPS' roles.
I still don't see what the these settings are doing. Is it like when people signup they'll be nicely placed under the roles they're assigned to or what?
Thanks

Hey, i was wondering if this could be used to ad DKP Adjustments to a certain Group/roll
For example, if i wanted to rot all core raiders DKP by 2% each week, i could select that group and do it.
Or does this feature only integrate with raid sign ups on the Guild Launch Calendar?

I'd like to have the option to have a role be recognized as a grouping under each Calling on the DKP Leaderboard.
For example, I have two roles, one for 'active' and one for 'semi-active' raiders that all earn EPs the same way, but I'd like to have my Active Clerics/Mages/Rogues/Warriors sorted in the first grouping and then my Semi-Active ones below them in a second grouping.
So instead of:
CLERIC
Sally 95
Nate 70
Joe 5
Smitty 3
It would look like:
CLERIC
Active
Sally 95
Joe 5
Smitty 3
Semi-Active
Nate 70
and so on for the remaining Callings

I pressed the "Remove __(character name)__ From This Classification" button in the Roster Groups And Roles and I can't figure out how to get it back. I can't even assign it as an alt anymore either because it's not in the "Alts And Mains" or it's claimer. What do I do, how do I fix it?
