Guild Launch News
Milestone 7 Updates, 6/20/2013
General
- Guilds can now set a default avatar for their site. We will now choose an avatar for a user in this order: Manually uploaded, Set via Gravatar, Guild default, Gravatar default.
This can be set on the Admin Menu -> Rosters -> Default Avatar area of your site.
- Calendar events now have signup windows associated with them, so that users can limit signup times for created events.
- Custom Pages are being phased out. Guild sites that didn't have custom pages (and newly created ones) will no longer see this feature. Instead use "Custom Sections".
- Bug fixes surrounding the Quick Reply feature. Will now properly display signatures.

So, The Custom Pages. For those, as myself who uses Custom Pages, the ones already made will not go away, right? And Custom Section, is that just a new name for the Custom Pages because I rely on Custom Pages for my stuff. And, will we still be able to keep all custom pages we have made?

By changing over, will we (me) lose what we have on the custom pages? I would hate to rebuild all I have done.

Note , I just tried the Custom Section, its ok but, there is no (Visibility setting for Public or Member Only) for it. Which means, members don't need to login to use it. I don't like that. Those pages need to have a Visibility setting.
One more thing I noticed:
*In Permissions*
Member Only Content Area
This page only effects the visibilty of content for users who are not logged in or users who are not a member of your guild.
This needs to be added to the list:
Custom Sections Restrict custom sections to members only?
Right now, only Custom Pages are there.

Mountain,
Adding member/non-member persmissions to sections and sub-sections makes sense. I will add that to our wish list.
