Guild Launch Release - Profiles, Calendars and Tournaments
The release today has a wealth of updates including Calendar Updates, new Tournament functionality and a complete overhaul of User Profiles.
New Calendar
We have completely revamped the calendar with more streamlined event creation and a new weekly view, signup view and improved navigation. The new calendar lets you see what is going on on your site much more easily as well as letting you create new events in streamlined manner. The signup tab shows you all raids and calendar events that you have signed up for at a glance!
Tournament
Have you ever wanted to run a tournament for your game community? Are you playing League of Legends, Dota or Smite and you run regular tournaments for your community? We now have you covered with our new Tournament functionality. The current system supports unlimited teams and round robin, single elimination tournaments. We have huge plans for our tournament functionality, so please keep the feedback coming!
The tournament functionality can be added on the primary navigation page.
Warlords of Draenor
WoD is coming and we've added:
* Calendar Icons
* Countdown Widget
* New Templates
* Raid Progression (we don't know all the boss names yet, but TBD)
We've got you covered on Warlords of Draenor and we will keep updating as necessary.
New Profiles
We've completely overhauled the profile UI. We've retained all of the same information, but we've arranged it better and put a much more modern UI on it. We've centralized all of the account management. We've added Social links so you can show off your Twitter or link to your Twitch stream and we've streamlined display of important items like your awards, achievements and a record of all of the games you play. Last, but not least, you can now customize your user profile with a header image.
The new profile UI is a taste of the upcoming Guild Launch Version 5 and we think you are going to love it!
Bug Fixes
- Adding roster permission no longer adds unrelated permissions
- ESO Profiler Upload Limit has been Increased

I see you made lots of changes to the profile page. Is there a way to make the avatar square again and how do people access their guild awards now? |
The rounded avatars are part of the styling for the upcoming Version 5 (which will be opt-in and not automatic) but we felt the profiles needed an overhaul so we did that site wide instead of maintaining two styles like we will with Version 5. It is not something we intend to make configurable.
Awards will be listed on the Awards tab of the profile and on the right side of the main profile page, but I see they are missing. We'll get them added back in a patch ASAP.

Cannot update the date on existing RR raid entries. It complains that the format should be YYYY/MM/DD and it shows initially as YYYY-MM-DD. |
This is fixed. Thanks for reporting the issue.

I'm aware that the Raid Progression widget is WiP still, however, I believe the raids will not be 10 or 25 man (which are currently the options shown), but Normal (flexible 10-30 people); Heroic (flexible 10-30 people) and Mythic (20 people).
This has now been applied to the current SoO raid too .. although I don't know if it's worth amending that one. I suppose you show older raids, so it might be worth showing additional options for those to show pre- and post-patch settings.

We can look into it! Can you put in a Feature Request for it? Our Feature Request area is here: https://guildlaunch.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/34522-how-do-i-request-a-feature
Hi, we have a Twitch widget that will let people know when you are streaming. Here's a UserVoice article on how to set it up. http://guildlaunch.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/519525-why-isn-t-the-twitch-widget-showing-my-twitch-stre . '
You can also embed a live stream using the HTML widget and the Twitch embed link. Copy the link and paste it into the source code editor in the HTML widget. The source code button looks like this <>.
