CSS Editing Basics
Q. What tools are available for letting me know what I can edit?
A. If you plan to upload or edit custom CSS on your site then the most important recommendation we can make is that you use a Plugin called Firebug with the Firefox browser. With that Plugin you can "inspect" your site and see what CSS elements are active on a given section of your site. They have instructions for usage available on their site.
It's an invaluable tool that is available At:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843
Q. I just want to a make a single edit to an existing template. Something like .body{ background-attachment:fixed }. What do I need to do?
A. CSS allows you to add changes one by one and they add up regardless of what file they are in. So you can add any single edit to your own CSS file or enter it in the CSS edit textbox and it will take effect.
Q. Where can I get more info?
A. We have a Guild Launch site dedicated to info related to customization of our sites. It is here: http://customization.guildlaunch.com/

You might be able to do it using the standard UI .. just click the colour wheel relating to your site in order to customise the colours .. there are options there to add transparencies?

Id like to run a partially transparent header, though there is a shaded box behind.
How do i edit the shaded area behind the header to be completely transparent, or to delete it.
Hi, it looks like you were able to create a transparent header. If there's anything else you need help with you can always send an email to support@gamerlaunch.com
