Guild Launch News
UNEXPECTED DOWNTIME: 1:05-1:15pm EST
We just experienced some unexpected downtime due to the primary Guild Launch web servers being unable to connect to our primary database.
We're still researching why this happened, but we have restored connectivity. I will update you all when I know more. The site might be a bit sluggish while the database warms back up and gets data back into memory.
We'll research this issue fully and determine why it happened and how we can keep it from happening again.

UPDATE: 1:36pm
Our system admins at the datacenter applied a security patch to our primary database server today which caused a change to be made in our database config. The change to the config had to be rectified with our expected configuration in order to restore connectivity.
I've updated our upgrade policy on this server to move any and all updates to a time when the system is less busy and asked them to change their notification policy to us in regards to these updates so we will have more lead time.
