Multi-Game Organization Support - Round 1
I've just added the ability to select Multi-Game Organization as a game type when creating a guild. The server name for these guild types is "Many Servers". I think that is approriate and should look correct when you read it in the places the server name appears on the site. In addition, all game specific widget are available to multi-game guilds.
We intend for Multi-Game guilds to get more attention over the coming months and for our product to more naturely and intuitively support these types of guilds. Unfortunately, at this time, adding it as a game type doesn't ensure that. So there are some caveats:
1. If you select Multi-Game as your game type, WoW roster imports won't work unless you temporarily switch back to WoW and then run it. Make sure the non-wow characters are claimed before running the import or you will nuke your non WoW characters.
2. Which column to group certain things by (Race, Class, etc.) are game specific and the system keys off the game type for this and the settings is global. These groupings may look odd for multi-game guilds.
3. The roster columns are also game specific, Faction/Race/Class for some Armry/Race/Class for others only Race/Class for yet others. So I used generic headings.
4. One of the game specific widgets is a Server status. This won't work with multi-game guilds.
There are probably other quirks. So, at this point the Multi-Game guild choice is an option, but it may have some unintended consequences. However, it won't mess your site up. If it doesn't work for you just switch back to your primary game and you should be fine.
We have workable solutions for each of these issues or ways to tweak them to make more sense. However, they will take some time to integrate. We welcome your feedback.
Enjoy!

I have two words for you and the rest of the GL crew my friend....
YOU ROCK!
I will start poking and prodding, and will edit this post with any quirks I find for you. I am sure I will not find all the bugs, but I will do my best.
On behalf of the World Gaming Syndicate, we cannot thank you enough.
