Version 2.6 - Signups, Groups & More
Mike has tested this release and given it his seal of approval a bit earlier than we were originally planning, so we have released Version 2.6 today!
Guild Launch continues to drive ahead in our relentless pursuit of Guild Hosting nirvana. This release has new features, feature enhancements and some bug squashing in it. Enjoy the new features and enjoy your sites!
Major Features
Guild Time
Our concept of Guild Time has been greatly improved. It is no longer fixed on U.S. Central time and is configurable in the Admin Guild Settings.
Guild Time (or Game Time)
Guild (or Game) Time is different from Real Time, it's a a time that is agreed upon by the guild members as a reference point. Most of us use GMT for this reference point in the real world, but games aren't the real world. For most of us the reference time for our guild is "Server Time" or "Game Time" or "Whatever the hell it shows on the top right, bottom left, or wherever" on your game client screen.

Signup Groups
This is a compact, but major feature. Signups for *Raids* have been greatly enhanced with the addition of Signup Groups.

User Recognition Widget
A user recognition widget is now available. This widget will, optionally, display new users and user's birthdays. Your users will need to put their Birthdays on their profiles for this feature to work. The year is not shown anywhere, so no one needs to be concerned about giving away their age.

DKP Synchronization
The roster import will no longer remove characters who have DKP assigned to them. All unclaimed characters with DKP are listed on the import page. However, this list is not the ones who should be removed, it is just all unclaimed characters with DKP.
Enhancements
- The Admin character list now shows the character's ID and links to the character profile. This should make it easier for people to identify which character is safe to kick if multiple characters with the same name have been added to the guild.
- The Admin "Guild Hosting Properties" page has been completely redesigned. The new layout of the page is much better looking and light years beyond in usability. The new layout has more "breathing room" as well as having more instructions and some of the instructions have been refined based on user's frequently asked questions.
- Site ownership transfers can now be done on the Guild Hosting Properties page. Guild Launch support will NO LONGER be doing site transfers. If you need to transfer a site please have set the member as a Site Admin and then go to Guild Hosting Properties and use the Transfer form. The transfer requires confirmation by typing specific text into a textbox to keep it from being done accidentally.
- Times which are converted for timezones now have a hover text that shows the user's time.
- The number of people signed up for a raid on the raid list now has hover text that will show the groups that have been created and who is assigned to them.
- A popup calendar is now available on the raid creation page.
- Dates and Times can now be entered in many more valid english ways. The forms still recommend YYYY/MM/DD and 24 hour time but if you enter other date formats that are valid the system will figure them out.
- EPGP decay is no longer rounded. This should lead to greater accuracy in the calculations and should reduce some quirks like people going negative over time.
- The Upcoming Raid page is now the default location for the Rapid Raid link. NOTE: You will need to go to Admin->Template and go to the Primary Navigation area and remove the current link and re-add the Default Rapid Raid link form the dropdown to change it on existing sites.
- The daily maintenance notification page will now automatically appear during the daily maintenance window and will count down the maintenance time remaining. The total time is about fifteen minutes around 6:15 AM in the morning. We are working to remove or reduce this time, but we figured a page announcing the maintenance window would be more helpful than the site being unresponsive.
Bug Fixes
- Various apostrophe issues have been fixed.
- The incidence of "No Post Mode Specified" errors has been further reduced.
- We applied fixes to the "Posts Per Day" and "Posts Per Guild" calculations that should make the counts accurate for the members who had innacurate counts.
The time and date changes in this release were widespread throughout the application. Please let us know if we missed one and we'll get it resolved in the next release.
Enjoy!

I'm pretty impressed with the changes so far. I appreciate you taking our feedback into account, as well.
A couple of things I'd like to see (one related to the latest Rapid Raid change):
1. Remove characters selected for a group from the "queue" list (or more them somewhere separate).
2. Change the calendar day to an alternate color fill and/or border color if a member has signed up for an event or raid on that day.
Great update, though. Very pleased.

Like these suggestions...especially number 1 where it gets confusing on who was added to which group. That being said, I also understand why you keep the names there in case there is overlap of groups.
Maybe instead of removing the "master" list there is a way to minimize it or hide it?
