General bug fixes!
Hi Poisonenvy! We just discovered a small bug with the image uploads. Rothalack's working on fixing it as we speak!
Some are also finding it confusing arriving at our website to find it "gone" and just an announcement there .. is there any way of making it obvious this is a "pop-up/out"?
hi all, will images on the forums count to file sharing limit of 10mb on free accounts?
happy gaming
@ poisonenvy As soon as they x out of the pop up, it shouldn't appear again. Let me know if anyone is getting more than one of these!

Yeah .. It was just that actually expecting our website and then instead getting a completely different looking site was throwing people .. plus the "x" is very light in colour so different to see.
I watched my husband when he first saw it and he just completely freaked .. thought his browser had been hacked (lol) and closed his browser down .. and then of course, because he hadn't used the "x" on the site, it was still there next time .. I suspect a few will have the same reaction.
Basically .. it's obvious to those of us who can look at it calmly and realise what happened .. not so much for those who aren't so sure.

Hmm..Let me see what I can do about that. Hope your husband wasn't too startled!
So can you explain the smart timezones a little more?
"We are switching from GMT offsets to named timezones. This makes it so that no DST settings are necessary and improves accuracy. In addition, you can now set a timezone on all scheduled events."
I've updated my profile timezone to be Chicago (CST -5 GMT). When I go to create a new raid it default to (EST -4 GMT). Can I default that to read from the current raid creator or default to CST in general?
We decided to default the timezone name drop down menu to the guilds set timezone name when creating events. We did this under the assumption that most guilds will set their site timezone to the timezone of their game server. Make sure that you go into the Admin Menu->Global Settings page and set the timezone name for your guild. For sites created before this update, we are defaulting that drop down menu to our best guess of what timezone your previous setting would be in, but it is still set in the database to your old timezone offset and DST setting. You have to click update on this setting for the new updates to go into full effect.
We may give more toggles to guild leaders later down the road for more control over defaults in various places.
Once you have your profile and guild set to your correct timezone name, all events on your site will be displayed in your user set timezone, then when you mouse over any of these times, it will show your guilds timezone.
I went by your site to see why it was doing that. You have found a bug! It has to do with the guilds date format setting and it is confusing the widget. I've changed your date around so that it is showing correctly and I am going to hunt down how to fix the bug.
I suggest you go take a look at your widget now and make sure that the timezone is set correctly and make sure you answer the yes/no question about how you want timezone translation handled.
