Guild Launch News
ANNOUNCE - Warhammer Status
Greetings Everyone,
Since we're starting to get questions about Warhammer functionality, I just wanted to update everyone and tell you the current status of Warhammer and Guild Launch.
Current Functionality
As it is currently, Warhammer is tied for second in terms of the most game specific functionality already developed on Guild Launch. You can imagine which game is first. The other games that Warhammer is tied with are all games that have *actually been released*. That should tell you something about our dedication to Warhammer.
Currently we have:
Considering the game is in closed beta, these sorts of things are about the limit of what we can do. In terms of things that our users can do with HTML widgets, RSS feed widgets, etc. the reality is there is lot more wonderful functionality that is used by Warhammer guilds that isn't game specific, so don't get the idea that the above is all Warhammer guilds have available to them, that would be completely incorrect.
Pre-Launch Development
We are currently developing for Warhammer:
Those should be available at launch.
Immediately Post Launch Development
When Warhammer launches a few things should be available very quickly:
Post Launch Development
The following things and their timelines are completely based on Mythic providing usable info via their LUA addons, Mythic *actually providing LUA addons*, what sort of web tools Mythic provides, what sort of other tools mythic provides.
If Mythic provides the correct tools, we intend to develop the following items to similar level of functionality as our WoW versions of these tools. However, development can only start in earnest on these items once we know what is available, so the development clock starts at game launch or once Mythic provides an acceptable source of the data. Mythic has published no documentation on their LUA api and have only allowed a subset of Beta members to even see the LUA functionality, so it's sort of hush hush. The items we'd very much like to develop, and this isn't in order of priority and remember Mythic may not provide the necessary access to make them possible, are:
In addition we will be keeping our ears close to the game community that grows around Warhammer and see what things are being developed by others. If we see something we'd rather support that was developed in the community we'll look into doing that.
So, we're open to all sorts of Warhammer feedback and feature requests. I'm just trying to give you guys an idea of where we sit. Like you, we eagerly await Warhammer's release, and while you're out overtaking each other's cities you can rest assured we'll be working hard to deliver more functionality for you. It is important for everyone to realize that due to the unknowns of some of the game functionality, not everything will be available on Launch day. We'll be learning about what we can do also.
Enjoy!
Stephen

Currently we have:
- Multiple Templates for Warhammer
- Warhammer Forum Icons
- Warhammer Class Info
Considering the game is in closed beta, these sorts of things are about the limit of what we can do. Pre-Launch Development
We are currently developing for Warhammer:
- More Forum Icons
- More Templates
- More Headers
Those should be available at launch.
Immediately Post Launch Development
When Warhammer launches a few things should be available very quickly:
- Raid Progression Widget additions - assuming we know what the raids are and can get pictures for the screenshot portion. Some of this info is available already, others not.
- Additional Game Tools info - we're not sure exactly what will be here, but once the game launches more game tools will pop up and we'll add them.
Post Launch Development

- Character Profilers
- Roster Imports
- Raid Tracking
- In-Gamem DKP Mods
- KOS Mods
- Bank Imports
- Realm Status
