Guild Launch News
Early August Release Notes - Version 2.1
Following are the release notes for todays release, which will be out by 11:00 am Eastern today August 10th 2007.
We had to remove the rework of the application process form this release due to some changes we needed to make that were taking a bit longer. Those changes will be in the late August release.
1. Attendance bar graph and reporting for Rapid Raid. This shows a bar graph of all raiders attendance percentage per event and allows you to compare any two events and set thresholds as well as compare system lifetime, player lifetime and any date range attendance. I think this feature is awesome, personally.
This feature is available in your Rapid Raid area in the third menu block called "Reporting" from a link titled "Attendance by Event."
2. HTML Widget. This widget lets you put any HTML into it and uses a new version of our WYSIWYG control to enter the HTML which should reduce errors and allow you some more creative control.
3. Accented characters now fully import from the Armory.
4. We've reworked the Rapid Raid adjustments page to be tabular.
6. Calendar Itenerary
The guild calendar now has a monthly itenerary view at the bottom of each page. The left side is a list of the dates, times and titles of all events and scheduled raids for the guild that month. The right side shows each event and raid the user viewing the page is signed up for in that month.
Feature Request
1. The lists for characters and users in Admin are now sortable.
2. Anyone with "Members" security access can now assign unclaimed characters to members.
3. Minimum Earned/Effort, Spent/Gear and Total/Priority values can now be set for rapid raid in admin. If these are set and somone does not have greater than or equal values, then they will be moved to seperate section of the members list. It looks just like the members list but is divided into two section swith a seperator that says "The following members do not meet the minimums set by this guild."
4. Applications are now posted to the chosen forum as a sticky so that announcements can be placed and kept above them as they come in.
5. Multi-Class filters are now available on the members list in Rapid Raid.
6. The PM button is now available on forum posts.
Enjoy!
Stephen

That should work properly. Dangit. We tested specifically with your guild in development. I'll try to hunt down what is going on.

Ok. That really should be fixed now Casknoir. Run the import again and they should import correctly. Also, we've figured out what was throwing things off on the CT_RaidTracker imports so we should be able to get that working next release. Thank you very much for your patience.

The HTML widget is editable by anyone...even someone not logged in. Just tried and the edit link was still up after I logged out. Also, the HTML code displays at the top before the actual HTML making the widget extremely large.

Everything between the <HTML> and </HTML>, including those tags was displaying inside the Widget. Below that it would actually display what it was supposed to.

Don't put the HTML and BODY tags in, they are unnecessary since it is just a block of HTML included in the page. Also, the editor is a WYSIWYG so if you want to eneter HTML then hit the "< >" button and it will bring up the raw HTML.
The editor is very strict about "fixing" broken HTML to keep the page form being broken by bad HTML.

Looks like it is only the raids, I was signed up for an event and when I removed myself from it, it disappeared off the listing.
