Guild Launch Version 5.0 Release Notes
Feature Enhancements
Rapid Raid
Reporting
Rapid Raid now has 3 new reports. They are an Event Item report, and Item Report and a Gear Report.
The Event Item report will show all drops for an event, pricing info, number of drops and more.
The Item Report shows the number of drops for that item, the price, average price and the price over time.
The Gear Report will allow you to enter a list of items and then report on all characters that have those items. This will allow you to check whether your members have certain gear or groups of gear. You could, for instance, check how many users have a full Tier 5 set or see how close they are to a full set.
All of these reports can be cross pool if pool specific reporting is appropriate but default to reporting on the currently active pool.
All of the appropriate columns in the reports are also sortable. We're using a client side sort function that uses JavaScript so the sorting is quick and requires no page reload.
Managing Events
Events can now have 2 default prices. The second default price can be used to differentiate values between 10 and 25 man raids. We suggest that you use the primary default price as the most commonly used price. If for instance your 10 man raids will all be 0, then enter the 25 man values as the default. When importing a raid you can choose which price tier to use for imported events.
Events can now be inactivated. A link at the bottom of the page allows you to see all events whether they are active or not.
Leaderboard Changes
The leaderboard now removes all players who don't meet your configured minimums.
DKP Type Settings
The DKP Type settings are now pool specific. You can now have a standard DKP pool and an EP/GP pool if you so desire.
Guild Ranks
Guild Ranks can now have an image assigned from your file library.
Forum Ranks
We have added some additional instructions to how to set images for forum ranks.
Application Availability
Availability data is now shown on application forum posts.
Private Bank Settings
The private bank settings now set your bags for the character to be private as well.
Raid Progression
Raid Progression is now configured to track 10 and 25 man raids seperately for instances that have 10 and 25 man versions.
Progression images for the new WoTLK raids have been entered but not all boss data is currently available. If you know what bosses are available in various instances please send this info to support@guildlaunch.com and we can update the info very quickly.
The WoW Raid Progression screen is now split into Classic, TBC, and WoTLK pages. The most recent or upcoming expansion is the default page, so it is currently WoTLK.
Templates
We have added browser version icons to the Template page to indicate if there are any browser limitations for a given template. The only browser limitation we really have is that some templates do not render properly in IE 6 due to handling of transparent PNG's. All other functionality should always work.
WoW WoTLK Template
We have added a new "Ice Village" WoTLK template.
This template contains some great icons for the forums submitted by Woothdye.
Another WoW WoTLK Template
We have added another new redish WoW themed template. With an Utgarde keep background.
This template also contains some great icons for the forums submitted by Woothdye.
An Additional Warhammer Template
We have added a blue version of the red Warhammer Online template.
Other Game Templates
New templates for Mines of Moria and EQ2's Shadow Odyssey should be available in the next week.
Other Changes
* The default gallery will no longer show on the gallery page if there are no images in the default gallery. You can add images to the default gallery using the dropdown, but the gallery will only show on the gallery browser page if there are images in it. This will "retire" the default gallery for the most part but keep it available for guilds that are using it.
Bug Fixes
* The by class lists on the signup page were not updating properly when a user was removed from the guild. This is now fixed.
* When running a WoW guild roster import from the Mod the import will no longer get level data from the Armory and will correctly use the level information from the import file.

Wow, this is just awesome. Thank you so much for this release, it is a big help to have so many cool reporting tools now!
A guild app posted with *only* availability information and not the info from the rest of the app. Is this a bug from the change?
BTW, thanks for the updates!

I really like the new template with one exception. The floating background image looks odd on my widescreen monitor. It is currently set to align left it seams. I would like it if the image aligned to center instead. I looked for a way to do this myself, and in fact tried several settings, but was unsuccessful. Is there a way we can get a widescreen friendly version of this template, or can anyone tell me how to change the alignment myself?
Thanks,

Edit: Suppose I should tell you which template. :D I’m talking about the new WOW Ice Village one.

We've made a change to this template so that the background is now centered and repeats horizontally. On smaller monitors the repeat won't be noticeable and it won't look any different than it does now, but it should blend the background a bit better on larger monitors like yours.

Hi Steven!
Loving the changes - thanks as always. May want to update the two new WotLK templates to IE7 from IE6+ - at a guess I'd say that rectangle around the guild name in the header is supposed to be transparent...?
What a lot of terrific new changes - we really appreciate that you folks are always working so hard to keep making it bigger & better!

The rectangle up top has a texture inside of it. We expressly wanted to get away from the templates that have issues in IE6 for a bit. That template should be fully IE6 friendly.

Love the Forum Rank pictures addition, something I've been hoping for for a while. Is there any chance you could make it so that we I could opt for using an image INSTEAD of the text on some ranks? I've written out some of the ranks in fancy type on a .png file, but I can't get rid of the original text naming, so it just says the title twice in a row... not sure if I explained that well.
In any event, keep up the great work guys! Much appreciated!
