Guild Launch News
RELEASE: GL v 5.2a - Raid Roster & Profiles
Version 5.2a - Mini-Release
This release fixes some issues found in 5.2 as well as adds a bit of much needed functionality that just didn't make it into yesterdays release but we chose not to delay the release for.
Enhancements
Raid Roster
When we added the Raid Roster we removed the existing behavior where all new characters added to the guild are immediately raid active. Removing this behavior was unintentional. In order to maintain this functionality we have added the ability to flag one Role per pool as the "Default Active" group. If a group is flagged in the pool this way then all new character additions will automatically be assigned to this role.
We have also updated all of the default created Raiders -> Active roles to have the Active role as the Default. You can remove this by setting the default active group to "None" by using the form on the Raid Roster page.
Remember, Raid Rosters are pool specific.
Character Profiles
We made some enhancements in 5.2 to the WoW character display. Unfortunately, due to the great variance in this data we didn't account for some things fully. We've made another update that should make the profiles render consistently. If you character profile still looks wierd, please let us know.
Widgets
Widgets can now be set to display in the PM (Communication) area and on the Profile pages for your site. To add this, click the Pencil icon on the widget and check the boxes for them. These two sections are not chosen by default when adding new widgets.
PMs
* The PM area now gives a message when you attempt to send a person who has blocked you a PM.
* There is now a "settings" tab in the PM area. This tab will be used for some other features soon, but for now it contains a list of users whom you have blocked. This is useful if you accidentally (or intentionally) block someone then decide to unblock them but you don't have any of their PMs to do this from.
Enjoy!
