Version 5.3 Release Notes
Waracraft Mod Updates
All updates are available on the GLMods Site.
Guild Launch Profiler - 00-00-08 BETA - Required Update
The Guild Launch profiler has had changes in the way that it checks for the version and correct format of the uploaded file. The new version is 00-08-08 BETA and it is a **required** update.
Raid Tracker - 1.6.2 - Required Updated
The new version of the Raid Tracker is a *required* updated. Raids tracked before this update will no long import properly.
Functionality Changes
* A new export format called "Guild Launch" has been added to the "/rt options" screen. This format must be used for future exports.
* The option for "Log Attendees: On Boss Kill" *must* be selected on the "/rt options" screen of the Raid Tracker for the mod to work.
* Emblems of Heroism are no longer tracked by default. You can type "/rt io" and reenabled them if you want to track them.
Changes have been made to the export format to improve the attendee tracking on boss kills and to improve hourly DKP tracking. These changes required a fundamental change to the export format.
Operational Changes
* The Raid Tracker mod has been renamed GuildLaunchCT_RaidTracker to keep WoWMatrix from incorrectly updating the mod.
* Running another version of CT_RaidTracker along with ours is *not* recommended.
General Rapid Raid Enhancements
Rapid Raid has seen some notable changes in this release. Primarily in the area of Raid imports.
Raid Active & Raid Eligible - Refinement
In early December we released the Raid Roster functionality. While this functionality is important, it is also unecessary for many guilds. Due to this, we have made the feature of the Raid Roster determining who is active in the pool optional.
We haven't made any changes to existing pools, but the new default will be to consider any "Eligible" character to be active in all pools. This setting can be changed on the Rapid Raid tab in the Admin area on the Pool Config page.
There is now a Pool Specific config option to indicate whether you want Raid Eligible chatracters to show on your Members list and Leaderboard or whether you want only characters on the Raid Roster for the pool to show there. This option will greatly simplify adminstration for many guilds who do not need the extra functionality of the Raid Roster. Characters are marked as raid eligible by default when added to the guild and if you have Raid Eligible as your setting on the pool for whether they are active the Character will show on the Members and Leaderboard pages without any further configuration.
Raid Active has been removed from the Character Roster since it is no longer used by Rapid Raid.
Rapid Raid WoW Mod Import Changes
The new import is better able to track who was at a boss kill than the previous version. Changes in this area are one of the reasons why there is a required mod update. The only downside to the new format is that a user who disconnects right before a boss dies may not be tracked as attending, whereas in the old system they would have been. This is because the new format actually looks at who is in the raid when the boss dies as opposed to using the Join and Leave times. If the user is disconnected, and shows a lightning bolt they will *usually* be tracked as in the raid.
In addition, the new import process has a much, much, much more detailed and informative screen for when you run an import that has attendess that are not on your roster.
This new import screen does 2 things:
1. It lets you create the character using data gathered by the mod for class, race, etc.
2. If the import finds a character with the same name, in the same game, but on a different server than the guild site the import process will let you change the chartacter's server to match the guilds. This way, if your users choose the wrong server when creating their character it can be fixed right when you import.
These changes are huge when it comes to making the import process flow easily for new and old guilds alike.
Raid Roster Changes
You can now edit the names of the Groups and Roles on the raid roster.
Suicide Kings
We have added a Suicide Kings implementation to Rapid Raid. A pool can now be configured as a "Suicide Kings" pool. If you choose this option the Members list is replaced by the Roll Lists for Suicide Kings. We have implemented the major and most common functionality for Suicide Kings.
Note: We need sample data form Suicide Kings Geo to develop and test imports from this mod. If you use this mod, please send us the SKG.lua file from the /wtf/savedvariables folder. Please send it to support@guildlaunch.com.
Raid Details Page
The raid details page has been streamlined a bit so that is easier to read and less "jumbled". The changes are subtle, but they make the page much easier to follow, use and to read especially for non-admin users.
Hourly DKP
Hourly DKP has been siginificantly upgraded. Essentially, hourly DKP should now work in all situations. Admins now have the option to calculate hourly dkp for any time period (15 minutes, 30 minutes, etc.) with a default of 60 minutes. The hourly dkp entries are now grouped for a cleaner look and placed at the end of the import.
Item Prices from Item History
An option to import item prices from the Rapid Raid item history has been added. This will import or update the most recent price from the item history for the guild into the Price List.
Item, Event & Gear Reports
These reports now have a direct link provided at the top right. This will allow you to share reports for gear and items more easily with your guid.
Rapid Raid Help Page
We've added a help page to Rapid Raid that summarizes and organizes the FAQs, videos and forum posts that are available.
General Enhancements
Server Transfers
We've added a page in the Admin are to ease server transfers. This page is linked to the right of the existing server change form on the 'Guild Settings' page. The new page will allow you to change the guild's server and to change all of the characters in your guild from the former server to the new server.
Note: Running Armory imports and syncs after a server transfer should be done carefully. Make sure the guild shows up on the Armory on the new server before running an import for the best results.
Rapid Raid
* The Character profile is now linked on the Leaderboard.
Widgets - Default Section Visibility
Widgets now have a default set of visibility options. This is used primarily for the News and Guild Description so that they show on the Homepage only by default. This should reduce the instances where a person adds those widgets then finds them everywhere on their site and doesn't know why. The new default locations should match up more with what users want out of the widget, but in no way restrict your from changing the defaults if you want.
Featured & Spotlight Guilds
We've added new featured guilds and new spotlight guilds.
Bug Fixes
* We've fixed some improperly closed tags in a few places on the site.
* We've fixed a bug that would lead to e-mail confirmations not being properly recorded when a user entered the Confirmation Code.
* We've fixed a bug that would cause the linkbox to now update properly when new links were added.
* Some issues that were causing DKP not to display on a characer profile when they weren't active in the pool have been fixed.
* An issue causing a slash to be added to certain event names when the event was edited has been fixed.
* The Raid Name now shows "None Given" on the Item list if no name was given to a raid.
* A bug leading to players being incorrectly marked as "LATE" on Raid signups has been fixed.
Today we are releasing Guild Launch Version 5.3. This release contains important Rapid Raid import changes, some notable enhancements to Rapid Raid reporting and rapid raid in general, as well as functionality for easing guild server transfers and a few key bug fixes.

1. I think you have a space breaking your link at top of your post.
2. Did you add the Sarth + drakes to the raid progression widget?
3. The bobblehead widget freaks me out in that weird way when you look at something that freaks you out and you want to look away but can't

1. Fixed
2. It's on its way. Vicki is working on it. We don't have to do those changes with releases. Should be there today or tomorrow.
3. That's why I added it. I went to their site and couldn't stop playing with it.

Also, a new post for this is preferred since these questions have nothing to do with this release.

and why in the gallery section does it add a funky slash at the end with the ' in the gallery's name?

Nice updates indeed.
Is there any plans in updating DKPmon to sync with CT_RaidTracker or even better, exporting correct XML strings. DKPmon_XML is exporting incorrect string for rapid raid.
I've read the post at wowace.com regarding your intrest in DKPmon(http://forums.wowace.com/showpost.php?p=258159&postcount=658) Would be nice with some updates on your progress.
/Thanks

Version 1.6.1 of the mod is now available. This version adds Waitlist support. It supports the following additional commands:
/rt waitlist [PLAYER] - Add A Player To The Waitlist
/rt removewaitlist [PLAYER] - Removes A Player From The Waitlist
/rt showwaitlist - Shows the Current Waitlist
/rt clearwaitlist - Clears the Current Waitlist
A waitlist only lives for the current raid. When you end the raid the Waitlist is reset.
The new Waitlist functionality also encompasses the old "/rt join" and "/rt leave" functionality. If you only want a person to get hourly DKP you can use the "/rt join" and "/rt leave" functionality. if you want them to get credit for Wipes, Attendance, Bosses, etc. you need to use the "/rt waitlist" command.

Our long term plan is to merge them or make them work more seamlessly together. It's not something that we can do overnight though and we had some changes we wanted to make, and really had to make to the Raid Tracker. With these changes out, we'll start looking more into making the mods work together.
I'm considering making Raid Tracker an optional dependency of DKPMon and writing some code to enter events into Raid Tracker when a change to DKP is made in DKPMon. Then DKPmon will have the current DKP and Raid Tracker will have the record of events. I think many guilds might want to run Raid Tracker alone and not have the extra complexity of DKPMon.

Raid Tracker 1.6.2 has been released to fix a small, but important bug. If you are having issues with errors when exporting the string, this version most likely fixes it.
Upgrading from 1.6.x -> 1.6.2 is a simple upgrade, just drop in the new files.
