Experimental DKPmon Change
The linked Zip file contains an 'experimental' DKPmon modification which allows you to change the winners bid after bidding is closed to a value of your choosing. After talking to a few people it became apparent that this functionality would help a great number of guilds who run slight modifications to existing systems that require some manual adjustment. So, this will let you accept bids then adjust as necessary in a fairly streamlined way.
The file is here:
http://files1.guildlaunch.net/guild/library/68936/lootitem_experimental.zip
Unzip the 1 file from the Zip archive into /WoW/Interface/AddOns/DKPmon/Looting. It will overwrite the existing lootitem.lua, you may want to backup the looitem.lua that is in there currently.
To use the new function:
1. open bidding
2. get bids
3. close bidding
4. click and select the winner (may be automatically selected)
5. if adjustment is necessary click the Adjust Bid option enter a value and hit enter.
6. Announce & Deduct as normal
The changed value will carry over into any other functions of DKPmon and our logging.
I'm calling this experimental because I've tested it locally with the BossAuction module, but haven't yet checked it with the others. The change is in the core DKPmon module so it shouldn't be effected by other modules but I need to check it further. If you run into any issue please let us know.

It just allows you to change the winning bid before announcing and deducting. Why would you need to remove a bidder? If they don't win then they don't win and you can select any other bidder? I'm just not understanding why you'd need to do that?

I've installed the experimental addition, but have not run a raid with a loot drop yet. However, one instance that I'd like the availability for is adding a winner. We've had new members join the raid who don't have the addon yet as well as a couple occasions where a member's addon wasn't working for whatever reason. Instead of holding up the raid for them to load it or fix it, could we be able to add a winner so that the log records it correctly and disseminates correctly through the dkpmon addon?

I think you can already Add a bid, the only requirement is that they be in the raid. Before bidding is closed Click or Right Click the item and choose 'Add Bid' that has options for name and the amount.

What about having a drop down menu for the raiders inside the raid so people can choose the names in the raid and then can change the deduction points? This would remove needless keying of the peoples name and short cut the loot process if a member does not have the bidding addon.
It would almost remove the need for raiders to have the addon if there are only 2 bid types for the raid or more. You could in a sense choose the winner and the points they spent. I was more looking at the need to manually do the name and point adjustment all the time if members fail to do the system correctly.

Tested out the bidding adjustment feature it appears that what ever you win with bidding even before announcing is the cost you are charged. I had a bid of 12 min bid of 12 won the item. Went to adjust it to anything other then 12 and it still deducted the 12 points. This is on the right track at least for us. But what there points they place is the points that is going to be spent nothing more. I bid 12 and that is the points being deducted not higher or lower.
This feature is experimental. I'll look into your feedback and see if I can get a fix in and then roll it into the actual mod.

Yeah i know how testing can be its a hard job and you guys are doing your best and all i was wanting to do was making you aware of an issue with your test with the adjustment item. Keep up the good work!!

With my setup, I assumed the full GP was being charged because of LUA errrors within AceLocales-2.2. This gives me the impression that the altered lootitem.lua file doesn't actually work at all, or at the very least is incompatible with any system but the flat dkp system that comes bundled with DKPmon/Bidder.
