Wardb.com Down - Warhammer Itemstats Hovers Disable
Greetings Everyone,
We've disable the Wardb itemstats hovers. Their site is currently down.
If anyone knows of another Warhammer item info site that has quality data please let us know the URL so we can look into using them.

The WarDB site is back up. They do regular maintenance & that was probably a cause to it being down.
Is there a chance that the itemstat hovers will be re-enabled? I, & I'm sure many others, have guides that depend on them in order to keep from forcing people to have to bounce from site to site.
Thanks,
-Nary

Itemstat hovers have been disabled yet again. The WarDB site isn't down. When it does go down it's only for a short while & always for maintenance.
Is there any particular reason they're disabled again?
Is it some kind of conflict with the Guildlaunch site?
If the answer to both of those questions is "No" then can we expect them to be back anytime soon?
Thank you

When WarDB goes down their script not loading causes an additional 1-2 seconds of additional page load time across our sites using the script. It's not a minor thing when they go down and the script won't load.
As for what is happening now, we are loading the script later in the page in order to account *for their consistent downtime*. It may be short, but when people start asking why their site is loading slowly and it's because of WarDB being down for an hour that doesn't work either. Their script has an error in it in IE browsers that is causing that late loading not to work. Their script works fine right now in Firefox.
I'll look for a solution, but the problem ultimately lies with WarDB, not us. Any issues we've had with WarDB and the item stats not loading has been a reactionary issue to either their downtime or an error in their script. We're working hard to make it work as well as it can within our requirements of also not causing unacceptable page loads.

I looked into this some more. Their script has a bug in it. It's tossing hundreds of errors even in Firefox. Firefox just continues on over the error whereas IE stops execution of the script, thus making it appear to work in Firefox, but not IE. I've posted a post on their site, hopefully they will fix it soon.
