Guild Launch Version 6.2 Release
Greetings,
The Version 6.2 release primarily provides support for Multi-Specs in WoW. However, there are other features that all Guild Launch members will enjoy. All around this is a solid release with quality functionality.
New Features
Spec Info
* We've completely overhauled the character addition process. The new process will select the current game and server of the guild when you choose to add a character directly to the guild. It is also all on one page and uses Ajax to load in the appropriate form elements.
* We now fully support dual classing in Runes of Magic. You can edit your characters and add their second class without using the custom roster columns. When you add new characters the second class option will also be presented.
* We now fully support dual specs in WoW. The spec columns are showing by default. They can be removed on the Custom Roster Columns page on the Content tab in the Admin area. Specs can be edited on the Character's profile and will be presented during character creation.
* We now support specs for Warhammer. The spec column is showing by default. It can be removed on the Custom Roster Columns page on the Content tab in the Admin area. Spec can be edited on the Character's profile and will be presented during character creation.
* As we collect and enter Spec info for other games we'll enter the data and release them.
Mapping
In the Guild Roster area is a new tab called "Maps". This page allows your guild members to enter their Longitude and Latitude and to be displayed on the map. This is a fun feature for the guild that will give you a new perspective on your guild.
Enhancements
* The Rapid Raid members list and leaderboard now have color coding for the Earned, Spent, Current DKP and certain attendance thresholds. The thresholds are not currently configurable, but the colors are if you have access to full CSS uploads. The relevant classes are:

Quote:
* An option now exists to remove all customizations that are entered on the Template tab at once.
* A user is no longer selected by default on the transfer guild form.
* We've modified the Last Forum Post layout a bit to be one line shorter vertically in instances where the posters name is short. This should reclaim some space. We've also removed the "person" icon and move the "posts in descending order" to a text link called "view last". We've tried to streamline this a bit and make it look cleaner and take up a bit less space. We've made major improvements to the display of this widget when it is in the middle content area. It now shows in 3 columns and is much more space efficient.
* On ad-supported sites the right side advertisment is now presented as a widget.
Bug Fixes
* An issue keeping PNGs from displaying as rank images has been fixed
* Some minor display issues have been fixed on the Guild Ranks page
* We've fixed the primary Russian forum Admin translations. We're still looking for some help with verifying the translations.
* The IE8 "Bouncy" Textboxes in the forums have been fixed.
Mods & Addons
New versions of all of our Mods are available for WoW 3.1
* A new Guild Launch Profiler is available - and is a required update. This version supports dual speccing.
* A new Guild Launch CT_RaidTracker is available - this version has an improved options screen.
Performance
* We've tweaked some session management to provide better performance during peak usage.
* We've added an additional Memcache server to store certain site info
* We've moved the WoWHead script to load directly from their static server, this should reduce the impact of their main site performance on our page loads
Version 6.3 is coming up with Roster Import improvements and more!
Enjoy!
Stephen

the new css options are nice.
if we used the onsite editors to alter the css after we have uploaded a custom css...how can i download my current css in use and where do you add the new dkp values inside the css file?
i see there is no way to adjust the % breakoffs. what are they default?
0-29 red
30-68 white
69-100 green
seems to be close to that

You can download your current custom CSS file at the top of the Custom CSS Upload page.

The colored icon never indicated the post was new it was always the same icon. There is no difference between the way the link works and the way it used to. It's the same exact code. We changed the layout of some of the other items, but no difference in the way the link is rendered, written, or styled.

Did I miss something about the last forum post widget being changed?
Having used it for over a year in the previous state where it'd have a colored icon if the post was new, not having that is disconcerting.

We've had more than a few people do a double take in regards to the new Last Forum Post widget layout. So, I've undone the Last Forum Post widget changes. We'll make a less disruptive change to fix *just* the middle position layouts without effecting the rest of the Widget.
Then I'll release a new widget with the new layout so people can choose since the code is already written. It will probably be called something really witty like "Last Forum Posts 2".
