Rapid Raid
FAQ: Inital DKP FAQs
Q. What is Initial DKP?
A. It's a way to import a bulk set of DKP from CSV or other delimited files. Initial DKP can be used as the starting value for the Rapid Raid pool or it can be used as the only values presented by the raid pool. We call the second option "Initial DKP Only". I'll discuss that more in a minute.
A2. This functionality for those of you using the EPGP Google code mod nearly duplicates, or does the same but better, the functionality of EPGPWeb.
Q. What can it be used for?
A. It can be used for various purposes. Such as:
Q. Do I have to use this functionality?
A. Not at all. If the above doesn't sound like something you need or care about, then just ignore the functionality and go have some fun with some other feature.
Q. What import methods or mods are supported?
A. Currently the following import methods are supported:
Q. So what is this "Initial DKP Only" option?
A. In the "Initial DKP Only" mod the only way that DKP can be changed is via the import. The boss values, item values, and adjustments in the system are ignored.
Why would you want to do this? Let's say you have a mod that you like for in-game DKP, but it doesn't have raid tracking, or we don't have a tracking method for getting it's DKP, but the mod does have a CSV export (which many do, or they can be easily implemented). What you can do is use your preferred in-game mod to track the DKP and use our raid tracker to track the items. Then, you import the CSV from the mod and the Raid Tracker file. The Raid Tracker file gets the Boss Kills and Loot onto your site and the CSV import sets the DKP to show on your site. This way with minimal effort you get alot more options for what mods you can use and you get the DKP to match your in-game mod easily.
Let us know if you have anymore questions....

You can set the DKP in the file you are uploading to 0s, that is what I meant by blank. There is a reset in the next release.

I upload a list but need to change one raiders dkp up or down. How would i be able to do that?
Adding is easy with dkpmon but subtracting poses some problems.

Ok I just learned about the DPK system today and I have a website here on guildlaunch. Needless to say I'm a complete noob when it comes to this. I have a few questions that I can't find answers for here in the forums. First, When I download the file where exactly do I extract it to ( since it's zipped)? Is this an in-game program? How do I know if my mmo supports it (btw I'm playing Dungeons & Dragons Online)? Finally, if my mmo doesn't support it and its not an in-game program, then how does this work with my website.
Again, I'm very sorry that I'm a noob when it comes to DPK and I thank you for your answers.

Unfortuntately DDO does not support in-game mods. That is a decision made by the developers of DDO, not us. You can still use DKP though. You can run our PlayXpert client (on the Tools page of your profile) and interact with the site while in-game. You can also track the DKP via other methods then enter it into the website.

Ok i used to keep track of DKP for our kin over a year ago with my own spreadsheet program and then transfer it to our dkp website. But now we are trying to combine the forum website and our dkp website into one here on guild launch. My biggest frustration so far is that i cant find how to add people from our static group that arent actual members of our kin to the dkp system. Am i missing an easy solution or is this just impossible???
we have characters with an ' in their name and the upload won't recognise them as characters existing in the guild?
