Guild Launch News
Version 6.5.1 Patch - Imports & Shoutbox & More
We have resolved the gear import issues and I have just released the changes. I apologize for the short downtime required to get the changes out. For some reason our replication process between the web servers corrupted a file when I released the changes. We'll research this and see if we can avoid it in the future.
Please read this info on the New Imports and how to report an issue:
http://support.guildlaunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2735575&gid=535&f=2429
Also, we've done the following:
1. Made it so the Shoutbox closes the Add Shout textbox again after a shout is entered.
2. Added the +9.5 Australian timezone
3. Fixed a minor profile display issue
4. Change the roster import cooldown to 16 hours so that you can import your roster once a day without being too locked into a specific hour of the day if your schedule shifts a bit
5. A handful of other minor tweaks
Enjoy!

We've found an issue where if you have Sigs created for your character you won't get updated using the Armory import on the site. We're actually sharing the XML we retrieve with the sig data so that we play nice with Blizzard's servers and don't request the same data multiple times a day. I've identified the issue and I'm testing a fix, we should be able to roll it out on Monday. So, if you're getting partial imports hang tight and we'll get it resolved soon. Thanks!

I ran an update after the changes, and although the Armory import occurred, and I let it complete it's run, it stepped on info that existed, and did NOT import any statistics or items from our toons. Only half of the toons were updated, the others are exactly as they were before the update.
The new import will replace existing info, that is intended. It does not auto import the hover stats for gear and isn't intended to. You'll still need to click the items. Once the caches are built for items then you won't need to click them. We're looking into the instances where the imports are partial, we'll get it figured out soon.

A specific character example on your roster would help. Every character I imported has the correct level so if you are having an issue I need to know which character had an issue. "Doesn't work" isn't very helpful for debugging. We wouldn't releas it if it "Didn't work" so more detail is always required to find out in what situations there is an issue or if an issue really exists. Also, very often the Armory doesn't have the right level either.
The level of the character imported are very often not right/

The items are site wide. Click a couple when you see them and so will everyone else. In a couple of days it will be a non issue.

To click on each item is really frustrating. To have a way to refresh the cache one shot could be nice to have.

GL Team,
CONGRATS - PRIMARY SKILL SYNC with ARMORY IS FANTASTIC...Don't change it unless Blizz makes a change whihc forces an adjustment! :-)
The imports from Armory are improving, but still miss on a couple of points:
1) Imports still miss some toons on skills level scores, even ones that have been in the guild (and in our Armory listing) for sometime. We had no less than 10 members missed.
2) Aside from the missed toons issue in #1, there no secondary skill updates from armory.
3) Some craftable items are still being missed...we found several examples of toons who where not effected by #1, who were missing all or having only partial listing of their craftable items.
All in all, it is coming along nicely, this was not intended as a criticism, but as an informative posting...If you have a guild being hosted here please let the GL TEAM know what is not working; just by giving this kiind of feedback, the community can do a lot help them get it all ironed out. :-)
Cheers,
