Guild Launch News
RELEASE: Version 3.2.2 - Non-WoW Character Profile Upgrade
Yes, this feature is for games *other than WoW*.
Today we have released a small but significant upgrade to your character profile screens. In all games other than World of Warcraft you can now choose to show any two images on your profile that you choose. The images are added by their URL so you can upload them to your guild site, host them on ImageShack or wherever you would like and easily add them to your profile.
A sample, using a Pirates of the Burning Sea motif is below:
'
The character is here:

Yes I realize that the flag is probably completely inappropriate for the ship, but hopefully you all get the idea. The image below the Avatar image is 150 pixels wide and the image in the main areas is 500 pixels wide.
We hope you all find this feature to be useful in giving you more control over your profile and creating more visual interest in your profiles. Although the feature sounds incredibly simple, with a bit of creativity it can be used to provide some very neat effects like:
Show your ship and flag in Pirates of the Burning Sea
Post your favorite ship or the one you fly in Eve Online.
Post screenshots of the major items you can craft
Post a picture of yourself in the game world
And much more....
Enjoy!

We among the PotBS community thank you! It's good to know you guys are recognizing PotBS so early on. I'm glad I went with Guild Launch this time around. I'll never use Guild Portal again!
Is there any possibility of getting this option for WoW pages as well? Our guild has chosen to move from Guild Portal to here for the better features, but I already got a dwarf raisin' holy hell that his butt-wiggling animated avatar won't fit in your 100x100 limit. Having an offloading option would be great to shut him up, er, I mean satisfy his needs.
And howdy down there, Diego, long time no see! ;)
