Guild Launch News
7.2 Released
Guild Launch Version 7.2 has been released today. You can get the full details here:
http://www.guildlaunch.com/blog/?p=210
There are a couple of known issues at this time that we are tracking down:
1. The left hand widget column should disappear when no widgets display. It is not properly doing that. We're looking into why.
Enjoy!

Was anything done with the Shout Widget? The background is no longer working properly. For example, see TEW WoW and TEW Aion sites...I had the widget with a black background, but now it looks like it is taking its settings from the Forum Description background...
And if it was a change, where do I need to go to fix it?

It was actually made better. What we did was make the shoutbox transparent and to use the templates colors. The net effect should be more readable and more responsive to typical customizations.
In some cases the change won't play nice with existing CSS that users may have uploaded. In your custom site CSS, you have this line:
.shoutbox {
color:#C5BEAB;
<!--- some other stuff -->
}
Remove that color and reupload your CSS and you should see the background color show through. The shoutbox used to override that setting, but the new settings won't and so that bit of CSS is taking effect whereas previously it was supressed.
Make sense?

Makes sense, but any way I can edit that color back now? I removed it from the CSS file and now two changes occurred...first, I still do not have a black background to the Shoutbox, and second, I now have these three God-awful green lines on my forum that I cannot seem to figure out where they came from, LOL!
The green bar was in your custom css also. I'm not 100% sure why it wasn't taking effect before, but I removed it and made it look correct.

Where was it located? I did a search for the color and came up with nothing...thanks, though odd I couldn't find it on a color search...

Hi.
Some of the permission settings seem to be different post implementation of 7.2
Prior to the roll out officers of our guild could add links to the game tools link - now they can't, and I can't work out how to give them permission back again. Please can you help me with this?
Thanks in anticipation.
Vomandor.

I attributed too high level of a permission to the Toosl editing in this release. I accidentally set it to Site Admin only. It should now be set to allow users with Widget permissions to edit it.
Make sure they have the "Widgets" permission under the customization permisisons for the group. We added this to break out the permissions better. There are now:
Widgets & Content
Sections & Pages
Tempates under Customization
The one you want is the Widgets and Content.
Those high level groupings should allow for enough coverage so that a user can modify what they need to without having too much power if you want to limit them.

For some reason I can't seem to restore my vertical navigation's background back to the way it was yesterday. The image it is using is greyfade.png just like all of my other widgets but for some reason its not applying it the same way everything else is.
