System Upgrade : June 14th 2007
UPDATE: June 15th, 2007 8:13 EST
Hopefully, you have noticed the increased responsiveness of the site since our upgrade yesterday. We undoubtedly have. The increased responsiveness of the site was one of the primary reasons for this upgrade in addition to more stability.
We believe that we have worked through the configuration issues for the upgraded software and that the system is 100% stable now. We appreciate all of your patience yesterday during the upgrade and we appreciate you all letting us know when the out of memory errors appeared.
We will continue to monitor the site today, and adjust settings if we need to. However, we are fully aware of the settings that need to be adjusted and do not anticipate any issues going forward.

System Upgrade : June 14th 2007
When we released version 1.9 of Guild Launch we also updated some of the software that the site runs on. Unfortunately, we found out that the version we upgraded to had some issues which were only evident under load. We quickly downgraded the next day to our previous version of the software.
We believe that fixes have been made to the software the site runs on that will fix the problems we had last week. In addition, we have done considerable load testing over the last few weeks and we feel that the update should work properly this time. We will be upgrading the system again around 8:00am EST on Thursday June 14th.
On June 14th we will update our site software again and will be watching the site extremely closely. This upgrade is extremely important because it greatly improves the performance and overall stability of the site.
If you see a page load partially and a message reading something like
".... out of memory..."
then please post here and let us know. If we do see these errors again we have a few things to try in addition to resolve the issue. It may take most of the work day to shake it out, but if the system is not 100% stable by Thursday night or Friday very early morning we will again roll back.
The stability of our sites is the most important thing we look after. This upgrade will improve that stability but your patience during the upgrade process is very much appreciated.

Dont know if this is what you mean but its popped up twice today .
Quote:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in D:\gl\mainsite\guild\forums\includes\constants.php on line 23
This was mine and it popped up almost 5 times now
everytime I try to get into a forum the number on the end changes
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 1048576) (tried to allocate 393216 bytes) in D:\gl\mainsite\guild\forums\includes\template.php(127) : eval()'d code on line 104
(sorry quote is acting funny right now)

We've made a couple of tweaks. Hopefully, these will resolve those issues. Thanks for your assistance and your patience.
