Tabard FAQ
I can't get the tabard to show on the widget I didn't have any problems with our 1st site. This tabard widget is on our Advanced Alliance site. I copied the image straight from our guilds armory and followed the Tabard FAQ instructions but it just is not loading in the widget. Help?
Thank you!
Thank you!
It looks like the file was upload with an extra '.png' in the name and/or has errors. Looking at the file in your file library there seems to be an error. Try reuploading the tabard.

I've tried doing this on 5 different computers with 3 different browsers.. IE 8 & 9 and Chrome. 4 of the computers have windows 7, the other has vista. I get a "Save As.." option when i right click the tabard, but no save image. Also, on a couple of the systems, the color and picture on the tabard doesnt show. It just comes up as a gray banner.

This is a problem on the Armory site. I've noticed it happening with more and more sites. Blizzard will have to fix it.

I go to our guild armory page and in the spot where the tabard should be is just a little loading wheel and the tabard never shows up. I've kept my page open for a few hours and it never loaded. This is happening to everyone who tried to view it. Any suggestions?

The tabard widens the column I put it in. Would it be possible to have the widget resize the tabard.png? Could be as simple as <img height=?? width=??> to make the browser resize it to either specified dimensions or "fit to column". =)
Another option for those having trouble saving the image in certain browsers- hit printscreen, open paint or other image editing program, and paste. Now crop the image to the correct size and save. If you are skilled and have a better art program, you can even set the area around the tabbard itself transparent.
This is of course a lower quality/more work option, but if you really dont want to DL a new browser and yours wont let you save the image, this may be for you.
