Release 1.9.1 Sneak Peak
We will be releasing version 1.9.1 at the end of this week. This release will primarily be a bugfix/enhancement release with a few new features.
This release will include the following, and a few other things we'll put in the official patch notes:
1. On demand itemstats updates. Item links (not icons) will now have a "recycle" icon next to them. Clicking that icon will refresh our item information in the database and pull in the most recent stats.
2. The roster import for WoW will now show the number and names of the character added, deleted, and updated.
3. Shouts will be deletable.
4. You will now have the ability to import raid data into a given raid. This will allow users to run an import per event if they wish or to import the actual raid into the same raid that was used for the signups.
5. Raid imports will no longer pay attention to case differences when determining if a character is in your guild. In other words if the in-game character is "Bob" and the user put "bob" on the guild site, it will still connect them.
In addition, in the last few weeks we have done alot of "hidden" work to improve the performance and stability of the site. The changes we have made don't really make it onto a release sheet like this one since 99% of the time was spent load testing on internal servers and then making minor tweaks, but we think you all will appreciate and are already enjoying the benefits of the increased platform performance.
Barring an unforseen hiccups this update will be released Friday morning (June 22nd).
Enjoy!
