REQUEST FOR INPUT: In-Game Current DKP Mod
I am working to put the final touches on an addition to our Modded CT_RaidTracker. This version will allow you to see your current DKP values in-game. The addition will support the following capabilities in the first version:
1. A user can whisper the person running CT_RaidTracker and receive their earned (effort), spent (gear) and current (priority) values.
2. There will be a page added to the Export page that will allow you to download a file and overwrite an existing file in the mod. There is no complicated cut and paste, no intimate knowledge of the file structure, just overwrite a file and load WoW.
I hope to add more functionality in the future, such as tracking ongoing DKP modifications as the raid tracker tracks item awards, boss kills, etc. but we have to start somewhere, so simple output of current (as of when the data was grabbed) values is where we are starting.
What I would like input on, is this:
Is there any other data, such as last 30 attendance, etc. that your guild would find very useful to have in the in-game mod? If so, let me know.

It will work for traditional DKP and EP/GP. Yeah, guild rank could be good. I think I've heard of people doing /roll modifiers based on rank.

Ok is any way that we could tie in certain items to a configurable percentage DKP as well as a set DKP system? I figure this would be doable as we will soon have the DKP info in game.
We could have the choices for %DKP and Set DKP added to the slider in the main config. window
Basically you would need an in game window pop up for both to configure it. We could use the command '/rt dkp' to access it. Entry would be the same, but for one it would be treated as a DKP value and the other a percent value with a default DKP value configurable for both. Here is an example of the fields we would need (I may have missed some)
This information would ideally tie into the current window that pops up when awarding loot having 2-3 new buttons DKP, %DKP, Default; as well as the current buttons which are Set, Disenchant, Bank and Cancel.
So basically it would take the dkp info of the player being awarded loot (where a % based system is selected) and the item slot information, do the math using the information given in the configuration window and use that value for the DKP value.
With the set value it would just use the amount entered into the configuration window as the DKP value.
The default value for both could be set to whatever default non % DKP value. If left blank it would be 0.
Just an idea I thought I'd throw out there. I know they are not always doable or ideal but maybe one day I will come up with something brilliant, you never know!

Woothyde, that certainly sounds interesting. Can you put that in a seperate feature request post though? It's related to this, but it's a whole other feature.

Sounds like an awesome idea
Could the mod also add the GP values to the in-game tooltips? I know CTRT can capture the GP values automatically, but I am hesitant as to whether these values are correct. If I can the GP value of the item, I can reconcile these off to make sure the values coming back are accurate.

There are mods that give GP values on tooltips already. I'd rather keep our functionality to the core functionality of displaying Guild Launch Rapid Raid DKP data. This will allow us to keep very focused and deliver key functionality related to our Web based feature set.
Oberan wrote our AutoGP functionality in CT_RT and he's the local EPGP expert and he uses the functionality in raids himself, so I've got a good deal of confidence in the numbers.

Your site rocks.Though how do i personalise it myself and for your guild application is there anyway you can make it colourful?.Also what is up with people not being able to use their toon names.Says something like this name is already in use.
Please send me mail.
Thank you

P.S: Would love website feedback on if its worth paying for the full site.

The primary customization options are on the "Template" tab in the Admin area. Also, paid sites can use CSS to customize their site.
As far as not being able to use character names as forum names, the names are global for all of Guild Launch. This is because a user can join multiple guilds with one account and we don't require multiple logins for the support site and the community site. More info on that is here:
http://support.guildlaunch.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=644129
Also, users can put their character names on their posts after they register and have it show next to their forum name. So, though they need to choose a global forum name to register, they can still use their toon name on their posts. They just need to set it up after registering.
We don't have any way to make the guild application "colorful" per se, but you may want to try the advanced application mode.
And, of course it's worth paying for a site. No ads, CSS customiation, more storage, more raids options, ability to point a domain at your site, etc. But, then again, I'm biased.

I agree and I am not biased.
I would also like to add that Guild Launch is one of the cheapest while having some of the best customer support and features provided by any of the guild hosting sites
