first step... check the official forums, see if there's a link (ie affecting the same ISP)
second step... check the forums of your ISP, see what's being said there... if it's a problem with them, there'll be people posting about TOR, WoW and pretty much any other game thats affected.
odds favour it being an ISP issue. It seems to do the rounds, 02 & BE last week... Sky have had the problem a few months ago. |

It's happening again today. Massive lag spikes and disconnections. I've had to decline some group invitations today on the Dark Side because I can't guarantee that I will be able to stay online.
As before, all other functions here remain as normal.
There appears to be a link. Any day I want to run Dailies as a Sith, this happens. Coincidence? I don't think so. I still haven't managed a clear run.
If anyone hears any news about this, I would be grateful for a link. I don't frequent the SWTOR forums as I would rather gouge out my own eyes with spoons.

For those with WIndows 7 the command is not
ipconfig /flushdns
it is
ipconfig -flushdns |

Back in now, flushing DNS cache seems to have sorted it, for the time being.
1. Go to Start Menu, select Run.
2. Type in cmd and press Enter.
3. In the command line window, type ipconfig /flushDNS and hit Enter.
4. Close command line window, launch TOR, play.
Will have to see how long it holds out for, but it beat down the login errors.
Edit - ...or it could just be a coincidence since everyone else seems to have gotten back in without doing it.
Still, it's computer maintenance. You should do that once a week anyway! |

I dunno but this is costing my Sith a small fortune in repair bills when I die again and again and again because of no fault of my own.
Yeah, I could decide not to do Dailies but dammit...I'm gonna keep on trying!!

Yeah, Same error codes here.
I am at least relieved that it's not my PC, but sorry to hear that everyone has the same issues.
I did file a ticket last night but no reply yet.

yep I logged out to swap toons and now cant get back on. However as Drach said there are other games experiancing the same fault right now.
I think NCSOFT are to blame with their launch of GW yesterday. It makes sense, it was fine on Friday, but Saturday GW2 launches and suddenly multiple games are struggling with connectivity. |

Got my first broken connection kick last night, at about 22:30. Found it weird, even with my shite ISP, that never usually happens to stuff. Logged right back in though.
Got in fine this morning. Game client decided to CTD after about ten minutes - kinda used to that happening though, since I went 64-bit.
Logged back in after that, got booted to server list after ten minutes.
Error Code 9000, then Error Code 1003 upon attempting to relog.
Time to get some cereal, then. |

Its all a ploy by the governments of thw World to thwart your plans to overthrow their rule, turn their countries into a dictatorship and eventually rule the world. |
