Anybody else tried out or seen this ?
www.onlive.co.uk
Looks pretty good,i especially like the £6.99 a month and have the choice of over 150 games to play.If they keep up to date with the games this could be very nice.
They also do a hub and controller so you can play on your TV,sells for 69.99.

This kinda thing might well be the future. But for now, its only really worth bothering with if you dont care about graphical quality, and dont play online multiplayer games.
Quality of the images is nowhere near playin locally - the technology does not yet exist to compress the images enough for the current levels of bandwidth people have.
Latency - its a lot slower than playing localy meaning your going to have to put up with slower response to your own commands and actions, and slower response to what everyone else is doing.
Give it 5 years and the quality might be acceptable - but for now i didnt buy a HD tv to play low low res games with poor graphical quality. :P

I got an Onlive console at the Eurogamer thing at Earl's court last month, they were giving them away free, and a voucher for first game £1. My son loves it :D
I actually think its pretty cool myself, but Adifi is correct in all his remarks regarding quality.
