hahaha, nice, so you are trading in your skateboard for a Ferrari then? :P

Nice machine though the gfx card os a little low (not hugely, but not tp of the line either)

Should run SWTOR with no issues at all... ever.... :P

I had a quick look and for the same price I can't see anything better (as a package)

How much you looking to spend, the last top of the line machine I built for a friend cost him £2,000.00 :P It was pretty good though :-)

1333 MHz memo is weak for 3rd gen CPU
I'd pick up atleast 1600MHz or 2000MHz for overlock since this CPU supports overlock.
And itsn't clear on site there 2 vidcards 560 Ti and 660. which one?

I think I might go for the 660. The only reason I put down the 550 was because it came with a 16GB ram. But I suppose 8 is enough?

take 660 one.
16GB is modern in these days you can add more RAM in future but 1333MHz isn't good confused

Try these.

£999.98

£829.99

£599.98

£539.99

This is where I bought my most recent machine from only got a 550 in it but rocks on the graphics with SWTOR. I skimped on an SSD wish I hadn't too.

Prior to that I bought from...

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/desktop-pcs/amd-gaming-computers/

....here you can configure your own spec and they build it never takes too long, also great after sales customer service too. I have been a regular customer of thiers prior to the move to the US.

More options more confusion welcome to the world of pc buying :P

I7 is a bit of overkill for any gaming really.

This is basically my system if yup upgrade the GFX to an AMD 7950

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-340-OE&groupid=43&catid=2475&subcat=2486

This is also watercooled and comes with and SSD.

Be wary of running twin graphics cards while SLI is very nice in some games in others it knackers your performance right up.

You can fiddle with the bits and add more RAM if you feel you need it (8gb is plenty IMHO).

You would need an OS try to avoid Windows 8 its horrid.

You cannot go wrong with anything from 'Alienware' - their gaming rigs are awsome.

Bought my gaming laptop from these guys. They are also local to me and have always had good service with them.

Here is a link to their Gaming PC's which is filtered to show the i7 CPU's. Note they have no Operating System installed, but you can specify which OS you want for the extra charge of the software plus setup fee. By miles one of the cheapest Gmaing rigs you can get with some decent hardware. About £1035 with Win 7 Home installed.

i7's are really a waste of money for gaming no games take advantage of them and you paying for something you just dont need. Unless you do 3D rendering or HiDef video production then an i7 is a waste.

You would be better server with an i5 and more powerful video card.

I agree about laptop's tho throw away technology so stick to a desktop for long term gaming.
